After five years of litigation and extensive negotiations, Robinson Markevitch & Parker partners Jimmie Davis Parker and Damion Robinson reached a $12.5 million settlement on behalf of more than 30,000 California tenants. The settlement resolves claims that GHP Management Corporation, one of the largest landlords in Southern California, improperly withheld tenants’ security deposits. Class members will receive $10 million in cash and $2.5 in debt relief, which appears to be the largest settlement of its kind in California.
