Robinson Markevitch & Parker partner Jimmie Davis Parter filed suit on behalf of thousands of tenants against Conservice, LLC, the largest utility billing manager in the country. The putative class action alleges that Conservice’s practice of refusing to disclose the basis and support for utility charges violates California law. Through the lawsuit Jimmie established the right of tenants to an equitable accounting to verify the charges billed by their landlords via Conservice for the first time in the state. The case remains pending and is in active litigation.

Ray v. Conservice, LLC, San Diego Superior Court, Case No. 37-2022-000034034.
